About

Once upon a time, pink-pistol.net was the lowly blog of a 16-year-old girl, and not much else. I purchased the domain in June 2004, on a whim. I thought the name sounded tough in a trendy, feminine sort of way, and I always had a thing for alliteration. In my haste, I don't think I realized that others might hear "pink pistol" and think of... well, the unmentionable male part!

Still, the domain served me well for a while, but after two years, things started getting crowded. As more and more fanlistings and hostees began sharing the domain, my desire for something "just my own" grew stronger. I registered loveisdead.net in July 2006, and it has since taken over the position originally intended for pink-pistol.net: a personal journal.

Although I began calling this domain the Pink Pistol Network almost as soon as it was born, I don't think it quite lived up to the title until I stopped blogging with it. With lots of ideas for the new empty space, I decided to use the domain as the portal to my entire online "existence". If you didn't know me before you found this site, you will now. Everything I've done online is pretty much represented right on the main page and although I don't have a use for a portfolio, it seems more and more like one every day.
