Maybe you were wondering who's behind Magazine Junkie - well that would be me, Ashley! I was born December 6th, 1986 in the northeast United States. I enjoy many things, but I am most passionate about music, web design, literature and photography. I would consider myself unique, maybe even eccentric. I live with my boyfriend of over two years and I have plenty of free time, which I devote to this gallery, my personal site, loveisdead.net, and a number of other projects such as fanlistings.

Favorite Bands: Thursday, Blood Brothers, Thursday, the Number 12 Looks Like You, Curl Up And Die, Communique and many many more. I also love older (and slightly corny) stuff like Jim Croce, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan and Michael Jackson.

Favorite Designers: Marc Jacobs and Betsey Johnson (I want a cupcake dress!). Realistically, I love cheap and trendy stores like Charlotte Russe & H&M. My favorite t-shirt designer is Johnny Cupcakes. My shoes of choice are Old Skool Vans - no, not those slip-ons!

Favorite Books: For some reason, I read a lot of "drug culture" type books from writers like Irvine Welsh, William S. Burroughs and Jack Kerouac. I loved The Da Vinci Code by Dan brown. I also read lots of John Saul and Steven King books and I recently got interested in Chuck Palahniuk (the author of Fight Club) through my boyfriend. I'm a Harry Potter fan too :)

Favorite Magazines To Scan: Jane is by far my favorite (too bad it is through!). They have beautiful editorials and they are also my favorite magazine to read. Harper's Bazaar is great to scan because of it's page quality. The worst magazines to scan are In Style, because their pages are thin, and Alternative Press, because their pages are huge and they always have a lot of two-page photos I need to join in Photoshop :(

Favorite Movies/Shows: I am a major Lostie, and my boyfriend and I are huge Friends fanatics... we have all ten seasons on DVD. My favorite movies are Donnie Darko, Rushmore, Being John Malkovich, Full Metal Jacket, and many more. I watch way too many movies.

Favorite Actors: Jennifer Connelly, Adrien Brody, Kate Winslet, Jason Schwartzman, and Marilyn Monroe.

Favorite Model: Adriana Lima!
